Job Description

Role Summary:

As a lead analyst, the candidate would work on providing salesforce.com implementation support to clients on various high-complexity problems in the pharma/life sciences domain while also leading a team of 3-5 members.

Essential Functions:

➢  Implement Salesforce (SFDC) Projects:

  • The candidate will be a strategic partner for Digtinctive’s customers; helping them shape commercial strategies based on robust analytics and data-driven insights
  • Lead the team consisting of Developers to solve business problems and lead end-to-end delivery of a large-sized project
  • Assist team lead to design solutions with the support of developers
  • Support the team lead to ensure the proposed design/ architecture, and deliverables meet the client’s expectations and solve the business problem with a high degree of quality
  • Actively lead and drive unstructured problem solving to design and build complex solutions, tune to meet expected performance and functional requirements
  • Drive the end-to-end testing and deployment of the developed workstream within a system using the change management protocols established on the client side
  • Drive and guide the team in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality checklists, and other documentation to enable excellent quality outputs within the function across the project lifecycle as appropriate

➢  Feasibility and ad hoc analysis:

  • Drive and guide the team on feasibility and ad hoc analysis of data and technology for the BI system as requested by the client stakeholders under the guidance of the immediate lead
  • Work with client stakeholders to collaborate and partner across avenues outside of the regular project work to lead innovation
  • Work with managers in actively leading business development activities

➢  Mentor Junior Members:

  • Support in recruitment and onboarding of new team members within the organization
  • Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior team members to positively influence the personal and professional growth of the mentee
  • Coach junior team members with the relevant tools, technologies, and domain
  • Work with the junior members to drive their growth with regular connects, creating learning plans, planning ways to meet professional aspirations
  • Work with junior members to keep them engaged through various avenues ensuring a strong and positive team atmosphere

➢  Contribute to the Centre of Excellence (CoE):

  • Drive and work with lead analysts to drive the team to develop and conduct capability/feature PoCs across tools for developing expertise within the organization
  • Proactively research emerging technology and industry trends to develop a point of view (PoV)
  • Drive and work with lead analysts to develop reusable assets based on the project experiences to help speed up implementations
  • The roles and responsibilities will continuously evolve basis the project allocation and client requirements.

Additional Functions:

➢ Invest time in continuous self-learning to keep the technology and domain skills relevant and at par with the latest technology/methodologies within the BI industry

➢ Present/publish learnings/case studies from the projects/R&D within/outside of the organization for outreach

Candidate’s Profile

Essential Qualifications:

B-Tech. or B.E. in any engineering discipline or PG in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Operation Research or B.Sc.
Computer Science or similar courses.

Experience:

  1. 4-5 years of experience with salesforce.com implementation
  2. Experience in managing/mentoring 2-3 team members while providing necessary mentorship/guidance for the team’s growth
  3. Experience in working in mid to large-sized projects in driving end-to-end activities to meet set milestones.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities & Key Traits:

➢  Setting vision and standards for the development and integration of the Salesforce.com solution Experience in Design, code, unit test, system test, performance test, debug, implement, and supporting Salesforce.com applications and integrations.

  • Expertise in Designing & implementing APIs and web-based interfaces utilizing APEX classes, Visualforce, Force.com APIs, Process Builder, Triggers, Templates, and Web Services
  • Expert in Lightning components
  • Certified Sales Platform Developer I
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Copado, Azure DevOps, BitBucket, or similar tools
  • Experience in driving a workstream under a Production CRM system following the best practices when architecting, programming, or documenting solutions
  • Experience in working closely with the Enterprise Architecture team, implementation partners, 3rd party vendors and other technology teams to ensure appropriate infrastructure selection, maintenance, policies, and procedures are in place to support the CRM application environment
  • Experience in communicating development status regularly to SMD, Application Development, and stakeholders, escalating any identified risks Able to recommend cost-effective technology solutions for business challenges
  • Experience in leading a workstream/module for SFDC-based applications
  • Experience architecting complex medium-scale systems incorporating packaged and custom applications
  • Experience in the healthcare domain would be good to have
